Hello All, Im new to this Site.

I recently Updated my Nokia C7 software from Anna to Belle. I'm not sure what is the problem, but i can't use the internet browser, nor the nokia store anymore. i have a WIFI connection at home, and i configured my phone for it, and it's connecting normally, but i can't browse the internet... Any ideas??

Thank you

Hey...

I re-installed the software, but still im facing the same problem; further more, the phone doesn't connect automatically to my home WIFI network; once connected, i check the status, and it tells, that it's inactive, eventhough the connection is working

Appreciate any support

Thx

Hi there,

With the Belle update you can manage your connections much easier than with Anna. I got a little internet bundle so i can't surf that much. With Anna, it was impossible to use wifi for surfing, and my standard internetbundle was accounted for this.

Now in Belle if you scroll from the top of your screen, scrolling the black curtain-like view, you can turn on and of the wifi and the mobile data. Once you have connection with wifi you can turn off the mobile data. from then it's possible to surf the mobile internet using wifi. you should be able to use the social networks websites and even the store. So I think turning of the mobile data while connected through wifi could solve the problem for you.

Hope this solves the problem for you.

Let me know if it did.

Hello Spe115,

Thank you for your reply.

I did turn off the mobile data as you instructed, but same problem persists. I'm not sure what might be the problem. However, i send it to the phone shop, where i purchased it and the guy there that he will roll back my software back to Anna, as he confirmed to me that Anna on my phone has some sort of missing setup, I'm not sure if he's bluffing Wink,

Tomorrow, it should be finished, and it will cost me $40

I'll let you know if it works.

Thank you again
